Forgings can withstand higher shear and tensile forces than castings. 

The advantage of the casting is that it can make a more complex shape and the cost is relatively low ; the advantage of forgings is that the internal structure is uniform, and there are no harmful defects such as pores and inclusions in castings. The forging process is generally composed of the following processes, that is, selecting high-quality billet blanking, heating, forming, cooling after forging.
